King, Crown Prince visit 3rd Armored Division, open new premises.

Amman, (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II, on Wednesday visited the command of the King Abdullah II 3rd Armored Division. King Abdullah inaugurated the new premises of the division and unveiled a commemorative plaque of the division's buildings. The King, the Crown Prince, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Meshal Zaben listened to a briefing by the commander of the division on its tasks, duties and future plans to develop its armored units.

King Abdullah toured a number of the division's units and was briefed by their commanders on various training and administrative issues. Earlier, His Majesty and the Crown Prince met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Meshal Zaben at the division's command and discussed a number of issues of concern to the armed forces.
