Foreign Minister meets Governor of Wisconsin State.

Amman, (Petra)--Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and the United States in various fields.

At a meeting with Governor of the U.S. State of Wisconsin Jim Doyle, Judeh stressed Jordan's position under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II to bring about peace and stability in the Middle East.

He also highlighted the key role of the United States in achieving peace in the region based on the two-state solution and within a regional context.

The foreign minister hailed the strong tie between Jordan and the US, pointing to prospects of cooperation with the Wisconsin State mainly the fields of water and renewable energy.

Governor of Wisconsin highlighted the distinguished ties between the two counties, and reviewed possibilities of cooperation and the exchange of expertise in various fields.
