Alpo, April 27 (Petra) The Jordanian,
Syrian and Iraqi transport ministers issued a final statement
Monday in which they called for tackling obstacles facing
passengers and goods' movement as well as entry and visas
procedures.
The statement also called for rehabilitating
railways in Jordan, Syria and Iraq to be able to compete
according to market laws and mutual benefit from ports in
the three countries.
The meeting called for studying the integrated
stansport project among the three countries to reach the
high quality of stransport level at a low cost through qualified
and accredited companies according to the concept of smart
card.
