Prime Minister receives Hungarian foreign minister.

Amman — (Petra) — Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit on Monday received the visiting foreign minister of Hungary Kinga Goncz and the accompanying delegation, where she briefed Bakhit on her tour in the region which includes the Palestinian territories and Israel.

Bakhit reviewed Jordan’s stand towards the various issues of the region, particularly the Palestinian issue, where he stressed that solution of the problems in the region depends on solving the key issue in the Middle East, the Palestinian.

 

He attributed terrorism to the absence of justice in tackling the region’s issues.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means to further enhance them.

Goncz is expected to head the meeting of Hungarian ambassadors accredited in the Arab countries , which is due to be held in Amman Tuesday.
